Room for Elephants is my corner of the internet where I share old experiences with new perspectives, and new experiences with a bit of wisdom as I age. Through vlogs, poetry, and prose, I try to use introspection to write my life’s narrative. This is my safe space to sit with my elephants, without shame, anger, or guilt, but with empathy, love, and laughter.
Vlogs and Long-form Content
On my YouTube channel, I share new perspectives on old experiences of traveling around the United States - twenty states and countless cities. I also share my personal and business growth journey as I explore the Pacific Northwest.
Poetry and Prose
Throughout my experiences living in Nigeria, Liberia, and the United States, storytelling has been a significant part of my healing journey. On my poetry blog - Room for Elephants, I share some poems that have gotten me through some of my darkest times.
They Say
They say I’ll eat my shame in the daylight
And show them the remains at night
The problem is I dream during the day and fly at night
